Happy Spring Bloggers!
So Spring got off to an interesting start in Dallas this year - it snowed! That's right - snow - like 2+ inches! I spent the second official day of Spring doing laundry and watching the neighbors kids have an all out snowball war beneath my office window. I laughed because I realised that I live in the only state where we truly experience every season....in the same weekend. LOL...
Tonight, I'm sitting in bed, typing on my brand new laptop. It is super fantastic - so high-tech and geeky that even my husband is jealous. :o) We brought it home last week and Dave offered to clean it up - to make sure there weren't any funky programs I wouldn't need. The whole time he kept saying "Oh, you won't like this...it's too heavy." "Oh, I don't know....I think the keys are too different..." It just cracks me up. It is pretty fantastic tho...built in web cam, blue ray, a super awesome graphics card and some super fast processor that makes my old computer look like a dinosaur...and it was pretty great.
Last weekend I spent Saturday at Laura's loading all my new Digital goodness for Storybook Creator Plus. I love love love the digital stuff that Creative Memories has to offer. I can't wait to start designing albums and cards. The other thing I am looking forward to is developing my skills as a hybrid scrapper. There are so many great things you create with Storybook Creator Plus that I can't wait to print them out and incorporate them into my cards and traditional albums.
Speaking of digitial....guess what? I completed my digitial certification classes on the CMC Network. I am now fully digitally endorsed. Want help organizing your digital photos or creating beautiful, digital storybooks? Ask me how...I can help!
In other news - I'm about 3 weeks into Nutrisystem and I'm down 4 pounds. Not a bad start. This week has been a struggle tho. Sunday I just could not stop eating....everything I could get my hands on..if it was edible, I ate it....I am getting back on the band wagon. It was doubly hard because over the weekend Dave's friends brought 2 12 packs of Sodas into the house and a giant bag of Mini Milky Ways. Normally it's no big deal to have that kind of junk in the house...it was hard for me to deal with today tho...I was craving chocolate so bad and I did cave and had a soda.....I told Dave I really need the MilkyWays to disapear. I don't care if he eats them, hides them, takes them to Chris's house..whatever - I just can't deal with them sitting out calling for me to eat them.
Well all, I am off to bed. It's been a long day and tomorrow is going to start early.
Good Night CybersSpace!
